'''Ambler Johnston Hall''' (AJ W/E, #32/33) is a co-ed dormitory in the [[Summit Community]]. The building itself was completed in 1969 is clad in [[Hokie Stone]]. The building is named for [[James Ambler Johnston]].
Beginning in summer 2009, East Ambler Johnston Hall was renovated for use by the [[University Honors Program]] program as a [[residential college]]. The construction was completed in summer 2011, and the building was occupied beginning in fall 2011. West Ambler Johnston Hall is currently undergoing went under a similar renovationto be used by the [[Residential College]] which was completed for the fall 2012 semester. Ambler Johnston Hall is one of the only dorms on campus with air-conditioning, suite-style rooms, and other often-envied amenities; for this reason, special applications are required in order to live in this building.
