The '''Math Emporium''' or '''Empo''' is was a large computer lab operated by Virginia Tech. It opened in 1997 with the aim of improving learning outcomes in high-enrollment math courses. Since opening in 1997, it has had [[lockers]].**As of 2025, the Empo seems to be closed.**

Many freshman-level math courses are were taught online through the Math Emporium.
