During spring 2011, Scholar suffered from periods of extended downtime several days during the semester, including one during exam week.
On May 14th, 2011, Scholar was upgraded from version [http://source.sakaiproject.org/release/2.6.2/ 2.6.2] to version [http://source.sakaiproject.org/release/2.7.1/ 2.7.1]<ref>[https://listserv.vt.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=SCHOLAR_INFORMATION;5f5dd8c8.1105 SCHOLAR_INFORMATION mailing list archives]</ref>, which includes many additional features and bug fixes.
