Gobblerpedia has been online since Friday, February 11th, 2011. Please add (or import from an appropriately licensed source) any information you think might be worth sharing. The contents of this wiki are slowly being populated with content from the [http://vtluug.org/wiki/ LUUG Wiki] and [http://wikipedia.org Wikipedia]. Work is also ongoing on templates that will ease the documentation of common classes of articles, such as courses, textbooks, and departments. ==Logo Contest==Thanks , but the templates can easily be added to [[User:Alex|Alex L.]] for our new logo. See the [[Talk:Main page|discussion page]] for source files if youexisting material so don'd like to offer improvements t wait on them to itadd material.

Be bold. During the initial growth phase, write first and ask questions later. As for guidelines, no hard rules are yet in place. It is preferable to use proper names as the main page for an article and redirect with any abbreviations or nicknames. Also, Virginia Tech is the assumed namespace, if you will. Leaving off "at Virginia Tech" is an easy way to keep article names short(er). If you are looking for guidlinesguidelines, Wikipedia's conventions and the [http://www.branding.unirel.vt.edu/style-guides/index.html University Style Guide] are the best starting points.
