A Human Powered Submarine (HPS) is commonly used as a technical defiition for the act of a human wearing specialized shoes (Herein referred to as "Flippers") designed to have the effect of extending and streamlining the feet, thereby maipulating the scalar magnitude of their resistance in the water.
