GEZEL is a cycle-based hardware description language based on the Finite-State-Machine + Datapath (FSMD) model. Its tools offer extensible simulation and code generation. GEZEL was the thesis work of Patrick Schaumont and Doris Ching at UCLA. It is licensed under the LGPL.
