The '''Virginia Tech Cross Country Course''' is located between [[Plantation Road Extended]], [[Southgate Drive]], [[Duckpond Drive]], and [[US 460]]. The course begins next to the [[Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine#Building|Vet-Med Building]] passing over [[Stroubles Creek]] and by [[Smithfield Plantation]], through cornfields and wooded areas. The course was opened for racing in 1993.
