The '''Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation''', formerly known as the Mid-Atlantic Broadband Cooperative , operates over 1700 route miles of fiber optic network in southern and southeastern Virginia. They also have an [[w:Indefeasible rights of use|IRU]] agreement in place with several providers to provide connections to major [[w:Internet exchange point|Internet exchange points]] in [[Northern Virginia]] and Atlanta, Georgia.
