The '''Virginia Tech Foundation''' (VTF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit nonstock corporation established in 1948 to receive, manage, and disburse private gifts in support of [[Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University]] programs. Its board includes the Rector of the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors, the president of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, the president of the Virginia Tech Athletic Fund, and the president of the university, along with alumni and friends of Virginia Tech.
