Patton Hall (PAT, #127) is a Hokie Stone building on the academic side of campus that contains classrooms, offices, and labs. Patton's first floor was completed in 1926, with the additional three floor added in 1929 to total 52,750 square feet. The building is home to the Virginia Tech Civil Engineering Department.
Patton Hall is named in honor of William MacFarland Patton, who served as the chair of civil engineering and the first dean of Virginia Tech's Department of Engineering.
