New Cadet Hall

New Cadet Hall is the tentative name for the building adjacent to Pearson Hall, located where Brodie Hall Previously was. Several students, opposing the university's tradition of soliciting large donors with unnamed buildings (e.g. SEB, New Hall West, New Res East, NCB, etc...), propose that it be named La Porte Hall, in honor of a cadet who gave his life during the April 16 Shooting[1]. The building was completed and opened in summer of 2017.[2]
