The Peppers Ferry Bridge is a bridge over the New River on Peppers Ferry Road near the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant. In 2001, there were two spans: a steel truss bridge and a newer causeway. The original steel truss bridge was damaged by a truck carrying a piece of tall equipment in 2002 and was closed; in 2011, it was demolished to allow for a replacement.
