The Student Engineers' Council (SEC) at Virginia Tech is an academic curricular registered student organization serving as an umbrella organization for other engineering groups and the engineering student body as a whole. Its activities include supporting the College of Engineering and its students through scholarships, teaching awards, design team funding and other means. The SEC puts on the Engineering Expo, Engineers' Week and the Leadership in Engineering Conference.
