Engineers' Week (E-Week) is hosted by the Student Engineers' Council (SEC) at Virginia Tech with support from its member organizations. While the National Engineers Week is in February, the SEC has held its celebration in March for some years because February is too cold in Blacksburg. While the SEC struggled for some time to make E-Week a success, at least 350 people showed up to the spring 2011 Fun Fest by some estimates. The SEC has consistently sold T-shirts for many years, featuring a new main logo every year with a different front icon and major name for each engineering major.
