The designation of '''Registered Student Organization''' is given by the Student Activities Office to organizations who have met the criteria outlined in Policy 8013. The term may also be used loosely at times to refer to a [[University Student Life Program]] or a [[University Chartered Student Organization]]. Policy 8010 defines a Registered Student Organization as,
