Today the garden is used by students in the [[horticulture]], [[landscape architecture]], [[urban forestry]], and [[entomology]] undergraduate programs. More than 50 volunteer gardeners from [[Blacksburg, Virginia]], and the surrounding area assist at the garden throughout the year.
