Slusher Hall (SLUSH, #35) is a concrete and Hokie Stone dormitory built in 1972. The dormitory was named after Clarice Slusher Pritchard. It has two parts, a tower and wing, connected by an area known as the Tree Lounge. One interesting feature of Slusher is the ugly carpet-like material covering its cinder-block walls. Slusher Hall has been rumored to have been built to withstand riots.
Slusher Tower
The Slusher Tower is the tallest building in Blacksburg. It has 12 stories and houses 324 co-ed students. The theme housing program MOSAIC resides in Slusher Tower.

Sometime in the 2022-2023 school year, the building was subject to a flood from the eleventh floor down. Rumor has it that it's cause was students playing football in the hallways, hitting a pipe in the ceiling -- in any case, essentially the entire building was renovated, with every room being re-floored and the iconic in-wall closets being replaced with standalone wardrobes.

Slusher Wing
Slusher Wing is a three-story annex to Slusher Tower that houses 303 co-eds. The floors are numbered 2 through 4 to match the Slusher Tower numbering. Slusher Wing previously served as the home for two theme housing programs, the Wing and Hypatia, which has since moved to Lee Hall.
